Components are flooding in, but will they fit…?
After months of Catia design, redesign and virtual packaging, last Tuesday, the finalized lightweight structural components have arrived!
All aluminium front and rear battery casings and the rear lightweight subframe for harnessing the electrical motor and the new differential.
The biggest question was of course: will they fit?
After the required and scheduled adaptations were performed to the chassis, (don’t worry, completely supervised by our German bodywork specialist 😅), everything fitted perfectly!
We couldn’t be more satisfied!
Below: a sneak peek into the work at our Design Lab
We are awaiting the delivery of the very capable e-motor (did you know that it will have an immediate torque of 911 Nm as of zero rotations...), inverter, BMS, charger & converter, all in the coming 2-4 weeks.
The batteries are in shipment (or actually, they are being flown in from China as we speak) and will be prepared for module assembly in the coming period.
